FIVE studios. One city. One cover.
We select five independent studios to represent the San Francisco design scene in a fine-art publication. Each studio is positioned as a visible authority in their field — through professional portraiture, narrative storytelling, and shared cover placement.
This is not a media feature. It is a studio positioning programme.
The five studios form the editorial heart of a complete fine-art publication — one that extends into interiors, wellness, craft, beauty and the wider culture of considered living in San Francisco. The circle is small by design. What surrounds it is not.
The Studio Circle.
Each edition brings together five studios whose work shapes how people live, build, and inhabit space in their region. The circle is intentionally small — this is not a directory or a group listing.
If you received an invitation, it's because your studio belongs in this conversation.
The Studio Experience.
Every selected studio receives a complete brand positioning package — from portrait session through to print and digital publication.
Shared Cover Placement: Your portrait alongside four other studios on the front cover of the publication. A visual statement of authority in the design scene, owned and used across your channels from day one.
Professional Portraiture: Individual studio portrait and collective group session. All high-resolution files are delivered to you in full — yours to use on your website, LinkedIn, press materials, and anywhere your brand lives.
The Founders Chapter — 3 to 4 Pages A group editorial spread introducing the five studios of this edition. Not a directory — a portrait of a moment in a city's design landscape. Each studio has presence within the chapter as part of a shared story about how a place thinks, builds, and lives.
Your Profile Feature — 2 to 3 Pages A narrative essay written in the voice of the publication — not an interview, not a questionnaire. We research your work, your spatial thinking, and the philosophy behind your studio, then craft a story that reads the way your best projects feel. You review everything before it goes to print.
Coffee-Table Publication: Inclusion in a fine-art print publication produced to the standards of a long-term reference — not a disposable magazine. Distributed to architects, designers, and industry leaders across Europe.
Digital Edition + Positioning Online presence aligned with the publication release. Dedicated studio profile, project imagery, and coordinated visibility across the Meaning Living platform and network.
Founder Network Access Direct connection to the other four founders in your city circle, plus all Studio Cover alumni across every edition. Invitation to the end-of-year combined publication and exclusive founder event.
The focus is not on documenting projects. It’s on positioning you — the owner, the thinker, the studio — as a recognised voice in your city’s design landscape.
Studio Participation Fee

Your portrait photography is fully licensed to you for unlimited commercial use across your own channels from day one.
The fee is structured across three equal payments to keep the process straightforward from confirmation through to publication.
