Some designers create beautiful rooms.
Liz Eansor creates atmospheres — the kind that change how you breathe the moment you step inside.
Located in Niagara Falls, Canada, Liz transforms homes into deeply personal sanctuaries. Founded in 2021, the studio reflects Liz’s lifelong love of architecture and the belief that interiors should feel like living art — balanced, intentional, and quietly poetic.
“I treat each space like an organized work of art,”
Liz says. “Beauty only matters when it supports how someone lives.”
Her path was never linear — it was instinctual.
A designer shaped by art, light, and imagination
Liz grew up rearranging her childhood bedroom and riding through neighborhoods with her father, studying houses with curiosity. Later, she pursued Art History, interior design, and eventually worked across hospitality and retail before establishing her own studio.
Her work is rooted in observation — of light, proportion, and the invisible energy that makes a home feel like refuge.
Spaces that breathe
Eansor Luxury Interiors brings an intuitive blend of modern luxury and natural elements to every project, and the recent showcase of Project Sixth Ave. in Niagara Falls is no exception.
This home’s stunning aesthetic—highlighted by Liz’s artistic eye—is a true testament to her commitment to creating spaces that are at once luxurious and inviting.
The Ensuite: A Spa-Like Retreat
The bathroom transforms into a serene sanctuary, with Gypsophila, or baby's breath, adding a delicate, ethereal touch to the shower. The space is warmed with the soft glow of candles, creating a calming, spa-like ambiance. You can almost hear the gentle crackling of a wooden wick candle, the soft scent of lavender filling the air as steam curls upward from the bath. Liz is a firm believer that a bathroom, particularly an ensuite, should be a retreat where one can unwind in comfort and privacy.
“It’s always a pleasure to light a candle, fill the bath, and forget about the rest,” she shares.
The Kitchen: Where Warmth Meets Function
A modern yet warm design defines this kitchen, where functionality meets sophistication. Gypsophila decorates the space, weaving nature into the heart of the home. Candles cast a soft, ambient light across the countertops, and perhaps the faint aroma of freshly baked bread lingers in the air. Liz seamlessly blends practicality and beauty, ensuring her clients’ kitchens serve as both stylish spaces and practical hubs for daily life.
“A kitchen,” she notes, “should nourish not only the body but the soul.”
The Fireplace: A Sanctuary of Texture and Flame
The fireplace area is designed as a cozy retreat, featuring luxurious materials and warm textures that invite you to curl up with a book or enjoy an evening by the fire. The crackle of logs burning in the hearth, the delicate scent of eucalyptus diffusers in the background creates a sensory experience that relaxes and soothes. Floral décor elements incorporated here add a fresh, natural feel, creating a perfect harmony between nature and interior elegance.
Liz has an uncanny ability to merge various design styles seamlessly. Whether working with modern lines, rustic textures, or timeless traditional elements, she tailors each space to the client’s tastes while ensuring the design is easy to implement and maintain.
Embracing Individuality and Artistic Expression
While Liz loves working across a variety of styles—from modern to farmhouse to boho—her real passion is for older homes in need of transformation.
“Give me the ugliest, most run-down house, and I can visualize it at its best,” Liz says with a smile.
She relishes the challenge of reviving homes to their former glory, incorporating the story of the home into its new design while honoring its past. Just as nature renews and reshapes landscapes over time, Liz breathes new life into forgotten homes, coaxing out their hidden beauty.
For Liz, design is not just about creating a beautiful space but about capturing the individuality of the people who live there.
“I value being unique, authentic, and independent in thought and action,” she explains.
This personal philosophy infuses her designs, where each element is thoughtfully curated to reflect her clients' personalities. Every room is a quiet reflection of the soul that inhabits it—a space to both live and dream.
Creating Ambiance with Scent and Nature
In addition to visual beauty, Liz emphasizes the power of scent and natural décor to elevate a home’s ambiance. Candles and diffusers are used strategically to enhance the mood of each room, whether through the flickering light of a non-toxic candle or the soothing scent of lavender textile sprays in a bedroom.
“Flowers are my favorite,” Liz shares. “They liven up any space, providing both a styled, organic look and a wonderful fragrance.”
The use of Gypsophila throughout the home exemplifies this, offering a light, airy aesthetic that brings nature indoors. Liz’s thoughtful placement of these natural elements serves as a gentle reminder that nature itself is one of the most beautiful, timeless decorators.
The Art of Living
At the core of Liz Eansor’s design philosophy is the concept of the art of living. For her, designing a home is more than just picking out furniture and paint colors. It’s about creating spaces that allow for balance, mindfulness, and personal fulfillment.
“Living with intention and meaning is what drives my designs,” she explains.
Her process is as much about feeling as it is about form. Liz often visits spaces at different times of the day, studying how the sunlight filters through a room or listening to how the house breathes in quiet moments. She approaches each project with care, infusing her designs with the rhythms of daily life.
From the master bedroom—her favorite retreat in any home—to the cozy living room designed for relaxation, Liz creates environments that foster a sense of balance and personal connection. Her goal is always to provide clients with a tailored, luxurious experience that reflects their own unique stories.
